The General's service experience began in World War II as a member of the Jewish Brigade of the British Army and continued from the 1948 War of Independence through virtually every war in the nation's history, including the Sinai Campaign, the 1967 Six-Day War, and the Yom Kippur War in 1973. General Erem recently met with key people in the Bush administration and in Congress,
