The General's service experience began in World War II as a member
of the Jewish Brigade of the British Army and continued from the
1948 War of Independence through virtually every war in the nation's
history, including the Sinai Campaign, the 1967 Six-Day War, and the
Yom Kippur War in 1973. General Erem
 recently met with key people in
the Bush administration and in Congress, giving his perspective on
the Islamization of Europe, the development of what the President of
Iran calls "the Moslem Bomb," and issues of security in the face of
worldwide terrorism. As president of Israeli-Christian Nexus,
General Erem has remained active in organizations and causes that
promote the welfare of Israel and has dedicated himself to building
bridges between Israel and the Jewish and Christian communities.
